As with every generation, mothers and daughters share a special bond. Though one is not quite a woman and one, in many ways, is still no longer a girl – they each bear the qualities of each other. Little girls want to grow up fast, and dear sweet moms want to regain their youth. Mothers also know how important it is to be a good role model for their daughters.

So, with only the best of intentions, moms and daughters travel their journeys through life. It is every mother’s hope that their daughter grow to be strong, independent, caring, and giving. A mother’s dream is to enjoy the fruits of her labor (no pun intended) …to know that her daughter is happy, confident, and kind to all. There are many detours and roadblocks along the way, but you can overcome them using these four building blocks to obtain and maintain a relationship with your daughter that will last a lifetime! Because of your efforts in developing this relationship now, not only will you enjoy a close unique friendship with your daughter, you will also pass on to her the wonderful gift of future strong relationships with her own children. Really, what can be more important and rewarding than that? Not much, it ranks right up there at the top!

Newborn babies often appear less than appealing with their blotchy, wrinkled skin, large weird heads, swollen features and blue tinge.

Your newborn baby’s limbs might be covered by fine hair (called lanugo) and a greasy white substance (called vernix) that protects your baby’s skin while in the womb. There may also be a vaginal discharge from baby girls and a milky discharge from the breasts of both sexes which is quite normal in newborns.

You’re the Dad. You’ve seen it in your daughter’s eyes, since she was a tiny baby. Oh, sure, she runs to Mom for the basic needs and for comfort, when she’s sick. But, when fear is present, she turns to her Guardian Warrior, knowing that his size and strength and frightening temper will protect her from all that’s bad in the world.

When the main theme of a baby shower hinges on the gender of the baby it is really important to make sure the theme is clear and carried out through every aspect of the party. A baby girl shower needs to make people think all about girls and the typical girl stereotypes work well to get this theme across. Baby girl shower decorations should focus on the color pink and generally convey the image of girls.

Some good baby girl decoration ideas include mirrors, bows, frills and lace. Small mirror and comb sets tied together with bows do double duty as table décor and favors. Anything frilly or lacy conveys the image of a baby girl, so using lacey table cloths is a great idea. Decorations can also be like fairytale princess themes.
